Learn more about what is included...Since July 2018, Myst Software have been providing downloads of future release candidates.
Release candidates are great for exploring and providing feedback on upcoming features.
If you have previously installed MyST you can simply auto-upgrade by running
Step 1: Run the MyST Installer
java -jar fc-installer-[version].jar
Step 2: After running the installer, MyST can be started with
/opt/myst-studio/bin/start.sh
Step 3: By default, the MyST Studio console is accessible from
https://localhost/console
If you are behind an internet proxy, please follow these steps to ensure all installation dependencies can be directly pulled from the Rubicon Red Docker Registry.
Alternatively, the image is available for direct download by following the Docker Image links.
A stable release can be auto-upgraded to a newer stable release or a newer release candidate.
Similarly, an edge release can be upgraded to a newer release candidate or even a newer stable release.
Irregardless of release type the upgrade process is always the same.
/opt/myst-studio/bin/upgrade.sh [version]
To allow for a seamless downgrade, always be sure to keep a copy of the backup file created during upgrade execution.
Any release (stable or edge) can be simply reverted to a previously installed version in two steps
Step 1: Retag the old version
/opt/myst-studio/bin/pull.sh [previous-version]
Step 2: Switch to the database backup that was auto-created during the prior upgrade
/opt/myst-studio/bin/update-database.sh [backup-file]
